For the first time since 1918, Boston fans were able to watch the Red Sox clinch a World Series at Fenway Park. Last year, they were in last place. This year, they won their third World Series in 10 years and injected some much needed pride into a city that is still recovering from the Boston Marathon bombing earlier this year.
In a touching tribute, many fans made their way to the marathon’s finish line where celebration took an emotional turn.
